I am scheduled to take the CLEP for Intro to Psych in 6 weeks and I have no idea how to go about studying for it. I downloaded the CLEP studyguide from the Collegeboard website and obtained the Intro to Psych book. Should I just start reading it chapter by chapter and taking notes?
I've never taken a CLEP test before, so any input would be helpful.
Thanks!

I CLEPped Intro to Psych last summer. I bought the REA guide from Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/CLEP-Introductory-Psychology-REA-Preps/dp/0738600873/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1214790578&sr=1-1) studied it for a couple of hours each day for about 4 weeks. I took the practice tests in the book and did just fine on the CLEP. The test itself seemed very basic, was about 40 minutes in length and if you're of any age, a lot of it was common sense/life experiences. A quick, easy and painless way to get three credits in Psych!

I also like the REA in addition to the official CLEP study guide. Good luck, don't you just love CLEPs?
:)
I do love it! CLEPping Psych was perfect for me.
