Premiere International College (PIC)

Published

Hello, has anyone attended or heard of Premier International College in Florida? If so, can you tell me your experience? I'm from California so I just want to make sure that this school is legitimate. It sounds similar to International College of Health Sciences. I called Premier and they said that it's a 2 year online ASN program, less than 2 years if pre-reqs are completed prior to admission. Clinicals are in-person at the end of each term; 10 days, 12 hours each shift.

I think it is a good school and still new but I will go for a school In Cali and just do my BSN straight up . I usually paid for their entrance but I never took it . I don't think am still going  though . I didn't see enough reviews .

They have been open since 2009 and have active accreditation. They are on the FAFSA and take federal loans so they are legit . I did a lot of research prior to signing up. However, everything is at your own risk.  So far I haven't had any major issues.

Quick question how often do you travel for clinical

Hi,

does anyone took their entrance exam with this college? Any study guide?

Hi there.  Are the classes all online? Are they asynchronous or synchronous?  I saw another post you commented on that they require Microbiology regardless if we've taken it or not?  Is there an exit exam?

All the classes are online and synchronous. They are very strict you have to have your camera on at all times and be seated at a desk. Yes everyone has to take Micro and you can't test out.

Thanks for your response. What times are the lectures and are clinicals about 10 days per semester and is it held at the end of each semester? Just trying to get details since I've just discovered this school, and want to make sure it's a good choice for me.

The lectures are 4 hours 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM EST.  I'm in California so 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM for me.  They said 10 days of clinicals but they really mean you have to be avaible 10 days. We only have two clinical days this quarter and it's at the end of the quarter. They let you know when the clinical days are at the start of the new quarter.  This may vary each quarter.

Good to know! I'm also in California.

Do they give a lot of homework for the nursing classes? Do they typically give you the end of the week to complete assignments?

Yes it a lot of busy work homework. You have a week to complete the assignments.
