So I have gotten a job as a student nurse at the hospital and I'm still in nursing school. Well about a week ago I found out I'm pregnant! Yay! My husband and I are very happy. But I'm not sure whether to push my baby out one day and come back the next considering everything goes ok. Also not sure how to tell my job since I have not even went to the first day yet due to school. They work with my school schedule. So any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Don't worry about going back to work the day after you give birth. You won't be capable of doing that, so..... Even a healthy uncomplicated lady partsl birth is utterly exhausting, and you'll be bleeding.

Thanks I get so wrapped up in school and work that I forget the physical things that come with birth...and it my first baby so yeah I'm not being logical

I say that for now to keep the job and continue in school. Each pregnancy and each person is different. You may do well, have no complications, delivery and bounce right back in a couple weeks. But you could also be sick the whole time or have other complications, or have a long exhausting delivery or even a c section and take much longer to heal enough to continue. But how your pregnancy ad delivery will be is unknown right now. If you find you are fine, then keep moving forward. If you find you need time off for your health, then take it and come back once baby is born and you are ready. In either case, it would be good to take off the semester that you will deliver in to avoid missing material or failing from missing too much time. Enjoy the end of your pregnancy and your newborn, then come back the following semester if you can to finish up. You can keep the job the whole time, unless it effects your pregnancy or you become ill. Basically, right now you should enjoy the excitement of becoming a mother (or new baby if this is not your first) and just go with the flow. GL nd congrats
