smiles- there is no contraindication to the hep b vaccine and being pregnant.
http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/diseases/hepatitis/b/faqb-pregnancy.htm
this link is for the cdc's pregnancy and hep b site.
it says the following regarding hep b vaccine and pregnancy:
can hepatitis b vaccine be given during pregnancy or when breastfeeding?
yes, neither pregnancy nor breastfeeding should be considered a contraindication to vaccination of women. on the basis of limited experience, there is no apparent risk of adverse effects to developing fetuses when hepatitis b vaccine is administered to pregnant women. the vaccine contains noninfectious hbsag particles and should cause no risk to the fetus. hbv infection affecting a pregnant woman might result in severe disease for the mother and chronic hbv infection for the newborn.
get a second opinion from a current practitioner. you should be protected.

when i was pregnant my doctor would not let me have the hep shots. he said there was not enough research to prove it safe. i got a letter from him and took it when i applied to nursing schools or to my jobs... i also talked to several other doctors about the shots cause nursing schools are crazy about their students getting the series and they advised me against getting them...so i don't know, see if you can get a letter..

A little late in chiming in, but I had a high risk pregnancy and had no problems getting my 3rd in the series while I was pregnant. Good luck to you!
