Hi all
When i go to the nursing program fall 2014 i will have an 8 month old baby .....i want to know how did you balance work, children , and school or at least children and school? I have a great support system. Mom will watch the baby anytime i need to and bf has full time job but i still want to be able to work part time when i go to school and work.

My advice is to pick your top 2 priorities & focus on those. If you can handle more, that's just bonus. In other words, baby & school need to be important, working not so much. You have childcare, so you can focus on school. Plan to study at odd times & always have your books/laptop nearby. Don't procrastinate, that's when baby will get sick! Take care of yourself so you can handle your responsibilities. Good luck! You can do it!

What she said, can you avoid working? Better grades will make it easier to get a job, seems like experience isn't that big of a factor.

You can do it! I just graduated this past may...I got pregnant in school and took a semester off to have the baby and then went back with an 8 month old! The whole time I worked part time.... Was it easy..no, but was it unmanageable nope and now I am a R.N. and will start my new job on Tuesday. You got this!
