Thanks for all the replies! :wink2:
I am wondering if those who have exclusively used the Saunders current edition of the NCLEX-PN review if the questions on the actual NCLEX-PN are representative of the questions on the exams with the CD.
Anyone notice similarities in questions between the CD exam and the actual NCLEX?
The way they ask the questions is a lot different (both sauders and nclex). Some of the questions in nclex were vague and of course when i took the test...i was very nervous because computer clock is ticking. Practice as much as you can and make connections with what they are asking. Do research and look up the rationale behind it if you miss the question on saunders because the more you do that, the more you will understand and engage it into your mind and I totally agree to all the tips and advise that dragonsilver has given. Good luck to you and keep me posted :)

I am currently reviewing for the NCLEX using the 3rd edition of Saunders NCLEX review. I have been studying the book and using the CD that accompanied it. I've been taking the 100 question exams in each system and I am consistently scoring 64-72%. This does not sound very high to me, but at least it's over 50% lol.
Do any of you happen to know if this is a decent score? Obviously the higher the better, but I've scoured the book and it doesn't mention anywhere the correlation between your scores and the liklihood of passing the NCLEX. Unlike the HESI test...if you got a certain score with HESI, it correlated with a particular likelihood of passing the NCLEX.
I know where my weak areas lie and I'll be focusing on them daily in addition to the other tests. (Pharmo and OB are kicking my butt LOL).
Thanks so much in advance for any information you can provide! I test in 3 weeks and I want to know if I'm on par and have a "reasonable" expectation of passing based on an average of 67.5%.
P.S. For those of you who have used the Saunders 3rd edition NCLEX review book/CD, did you feel like the questions from Saunders were representative of the questions (in difficulty and content) of the questions you recieved on the actual NCLEX?
Thanks again!
