Preceptorship at an ICU

Hello everyone!

I am going to start my preceptorship at an ICU in a couple weeks. I am so excited but also a bit nervous as I am aware of the ICU being intense (haha). 

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on how/what to prepare? 

Any tips/comments are helpful so please let me know.
