Hi, I'm currently enrolled in Grand Canyon University's RN to BSN program, and for the capstone course they require 100 practicum hours and a preceptor. I live in Phoenix, AZ. They are requiring that I find an RN as a preceptor who works specifically in a community health setting. I don't know anyone who does, so if someone could point me in that direction or has any advice on finding a preceptor, please let me know! Thank you in advance. Below are specific requirements for my capstone:
Practicum Overview:
This is a 10-week practicum course requiring 100 practicum hours. 50 of these hours must be in an area of leadership, and 50 must be in an area of community health. All hours will be completed with your chosen preceptor in their current practice setting.
Your preceptor should ideally be in a leadership role, within a community health setting. Upon submission of your preceptors documents they will be reviewed and must be approved by GCU faculty. They must also meet the following requirements:
Your site will be your preceptors place of employment, and must be a community health setting such as:
traumaRUs, MSN, APRN

Are you sure you need someone in the community health field? I just finished getting a preceptor for my GCU capstone course, NRS-490, and there is no need for community health hours. The community health requirements only apply to the practicum experiences for NRS-493 and NRS-491.
Yes, my capstone course is NRS 493. I'm in the updated version of the program, so they updated the capstone to where it requires community health hours.
