pre-requisites BIO and CHE

Hello, 

 

Has anyone taken the pre-requisites for nursing online ? Looking to begin education for my ADN and wondering if it's possible or if schools offer the science courses online generally and how manageable they are to pass?

Not sure if those are available because they require a lab.  However who knows.

Hi Nrm2012,

I took online science classes with labs from Straighterline. The important thing to do is know where you are applying and asak them from  whom they will accept credits from online. The classes I took were challenging, and I have a strong science background. For instance , in A&P II lab they sent me a whole fetal pig to dissect on my own. I have dissected quite a few other animals before, so I was OK, but I remember thining how is a person supposed to do this without any extra instruction? Although, YouTube is amazingly helpful. Always impresssed with what people post to help others.
