I am wondering if non-degree students have to abide by the pre-requisite requirements of courses they take in order to get into the nursing program. For instance, if I need to take Bio, A&P, etc. Can I potentially take A&P first even if Bio is it's prerequisite? What experience did people have with this? I'm considering CUNY schools, LaGuardia in particular.

I know with my school I had to take chemistry and biology before the school would let me sign up for microbiology...that is at a CC

i am pretty sure that even if you are a non-degree, same rules apply: you have to take bio before a&p and so on.
but you know you can always go to the dean of bio department as ask his special permission for a place in advanced class.
