Yes, so far as you have completed the pre-reqs you can apply almost any where....however some colleges vary on the pre-reqs...for example Quincy college only require a biology course preferably A&P 1 and a Chemistry course while massasoit require a biology course, however they do note that priority will be given to those who completed both anatomy courses, microbiology, and liberal arts courses...
So basically any program can accept you as long as you've completed their required pre reqs, even if none are actually taken there?? Say I have my science classes done but not chemistry and I want to try for Quincy, could I simply use my transcript and take chemistry @ Quincy and apply?
Thank you!!
Yes, so far that you have completed your pre-reqs and also the TEAS V exam. Programs differ in their passing score to be considered in the program. I do know that some programs give extra points to applicants who have taken courses in their school (ex., massasoit awards one point on their point system during the review process).
For Quincy you would need to complete at least Chem 1 with lab in order for your application to be considered, so yes you can take chem at Quincy and use your other classes taken at other colleges to apply. Have you taken the TEAS yet?

Hi,
silly question - but if you complete your science, english, psych/soc pre-reqs at a community college and don't get into their program, can you apply into another community college's nursing program with those classes you have taken? And how does applying into a BSN program work - the same, take pre reqs at a com. college, shoot for a high GPA and apply?
