Pre-req done, not sure on Nursing due to kids

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

As crazy as this may sound, but some of you will probably understand me.This is my first time attending college.I did all the pre-reqs and am doing Micro to get it out of the way.The deadline to submit application is May 15 so I need to get with it to take Hesi.I am getting different answers as to class schedule.I have 3 kids under 8yrs of age and so far my class have ended before they get home.

I attend Broward College central campus and am unsure if to pursue Nursing. Can anyone tell me what is a schedule like and if any online things to do? I don't work & I don't want to work just to pay aftercare.

Have you asked an advisor at your school what the schedule is like for their nursing program? They can give you the best answer! Give them a call, it’s their job to assist you in class scheduling. I can’t speak for your college, but at the community college near me you can choose your lecture classes to be in the day/evening, but they schedule your clinicals. Clinicals can be on any day Monday-Saturday, any time of day, you have no say. Clinicals can’t be done online since they’re hands on. If you did all the pre-reqs, then give it a shot! Maybe a friend or family member can look after your children while you're in school? Do you have financial aid, maybe you could use what's left for child care?
