Pre-nursing

Published

I just want to know how to get A in pre-nursing courses since it seems like

hard to do,is there anyone willing to share about this?

thanks!!

Study as hard and as long as you can. Having a high I.Q. also helps, but we can not choose what I.Q we have. If you have 150 I.Q then read the book once and lite studying will give you a (A), if you have a 100 I.Q. then you may have to read the boook 10 times and study nite and day to get a (B) out of a class. I'm iinto psychology so I belive I.Q. can be a messurement of how hard you will need to study. Also it will depend on what teacher you have, people in one clas will get a (A), while in the same course with another teacher, that efort will only be worth a ©. As my great unlce said who had a 171 I.Q. only cherry pickers maintain a 4.0 until they graduate, so dont worry to much about those that brag they have a 4.0. Any person with a 4.0 can be set up with some the hardest teachers at my college and lose their 4.0 so fast it would not be funny.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for sharing!

you guys really help me a lot!

I want to ask is there anyone have a 2.0 GPA can enter nursing program?

or must be at least 3.0? Apart from GPA,what are needed to be considered?

I also want to thank everyone for sharing their ideas. I, too, want to get the best grades and there were some awesome ideas. I am making a much needed career change and tomorrow I begin anatomy. It is a shortened course because it is summer semester but I have the summer off so I am going to focus on anatomy. If I am accepted into the program, it will begin Summer of 2007. They make their first round of picks at the end of September and then in February. I am so excited. I became a CNA when I was 18 and did that until I went to college at 24 to be an accountant (ugh!). I always felt I was missing my calling. Now at 39, I am going for it. My girl's are 18 and 14 so this seems doable. I am impressed by the post of the person who works full-time, goes to school full-time, married with 2 under 5. Wow! I have been so worried about the science classes for some reason. Maybe because I am married to a Pharmacist, his Mom has a BSN and owns a Home Health Care Agency, his Dad managed the area hospital's X-Ray equipment and his sister is a Pharmacist, too. They must have all done great in science. I should be ok. I looked at my transcript from my first degree and I had an A in biology. Anatomy tomorrow....here I come!
