there are no strict guidelines that every nursing department has to follow when choosing applicants so, it's tough to answer your question. get in touch with a counselor and find out what specific rule your school goes by, in regards to course retakes.
to give you some good vibes, my school allows 1 retake for science courses without any penalty. after that 1 retake, points are deducted for each retake thereafter.
good luck!

Can anybody tell me if it looks bad on your nursing application if you retake your science classes. I retook A&P2 and micro. I did pass them the first time but with B's and C's. I retook them and I'm proved my grades to A's and B's. I really needed them for the points. I made a 91 on the HESI A2. so I'm not worried about that. I'm just worried about how bad it looks that I couldn't get A's and B's the first time around. Also I have several drops from where I was unsure of what I wanted to major in. Any advice please.
