A weird question.....

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I have a wierd question.... I am not in a nursing program yet - currently taking pre-req's... When I get overly nervous or too hot, my hands sweat. If I put gloves on, they really sweat. :sniff:Does any one else suffer with sweaty hands and how do you cope with it? Is it going to affect my future? I can see my self getting in a situation where I have gloves on and have sweat dripping out of the gloves - rather embarrasing. I've had this happen around the house while wearing latex gloves to clean, etc. Anyone else have this "problem"?? Is there anything to do to fix or help?

thanks in advance!

have you tried talcom powder prior to putting on your gloves? also I know that there is a name for this something like "Hyperhydrosis," excessive sweating when you break it down. I might be wrong but there may be a medication to prevent you from sweating. Tray looking into it online or asking a doctor. I hope this helps.

take a look at this website, there are treatment options.

Thanks for the info and adivce. I'm going to look into. Never thought to use the talc or other powder since I'm just doing things around the house.

Thanks again!

My palms get really sweaty, too. I always hated going to dances because of it. Now that I'm older, I just deal with it. Just one of those things. But, mine has never dripped out of my gloves, so I wish you the best in finding something that might help you!
