Hi everyone!
I am wondering is there anybody out there that is in the same boat as me?
I was accepted this month into Hunter College in NYC as a pre-nursing student for their Accelerated BSN program. I just signed up for a transfer orientation in Jan to find out what classes I need to take. I am so excited and nervous. I really hope I get into their accelerated nursing program. :bowingpur :)
I am studying for my Micro final right now at a local community college which is taking up my life but after that is over I will start studying for the NLN pre entrance exam. I am so nervous because Hunter calculates your GPA and NLN exam grade and that is how they determine if you get into the program or not. So---- I have to do really well on the NLN pre entrance exam and I am not the best when it comes to math no matter how easy it is!
Is anyone else going through the same thing?

Manhattanite,
I think you are right, generic is usually harder to get into. Unfortuately, EVERYONE of my girlfriends are getting married during the next two summers so I have to be a bridesmaid over and over so generic it is!!! I'm going to see Ms. ~~~ this week because NursingCas has confused me a bit about my Hunter Transcript as I just tranferred this sememster there. They don't want to upload it to my app because everything is transfer credit except for my "in progress" classes. I need to see how to fix this!
If I get any info from her that is interesting, I'll pass it along!
Hey BKLARH, Did you ever fix the problem with your Hunter transcript? I'm applying to the generic nursing pathway right now and I am in the same boat. My whole Hunter transcript is just transfer credit (I am accepted as a transfer for spring 2013) so I dont know what to put on Nursingcas. Any advice?
