Pre Nursing Baptist College of Health Sciences

Published

Hi!!

I was recently accepted to Baptist College of Health Sciences as a Pre Nursing student for the Spring 2018 term. I currently work in the medical field and have for about four years.

I have been looking on the forums for information about BCHS and only have found older posts from about 2 or more years ago and so I thought I would start a new one! I really love the school ! New student orientation is in a few weeks however. I did call and ask how late do their classes go until and I was told they go to about 9 PM and that they also have online courses available.

I have to work and wondered if anyone else did their pre-nursing classes here and if so, what were your hours like and do you know if they had them available from maybe 5-9 ? Did you complete all of yourl Prenursing courses online? Also, did you go to classes on the weekends?

Thank you in advance!

Back to Union. The ONLY reason I left is because I was trying to dodge taking the ACT..But I would rather do that and be at a place I really like..I love it there..Baptist is not for ME at all!

WOW that says a lot. I swear i dont wanna retake the ACT so to rather do that than go to baptist when u already in there......

Tell me about it..But a nurse I work with said its already going to be stressful so at least find a place that will be comfortable..For ME that's Union I was there two years and have zero complaints...Except for that ACT lol!! Baptist handled a few situations in a horrible ways I can't chance that in the program.

dont keep it secret what did baptist do lol. how did they handle it

Without alllll the details. They were very unorganized with My things. One person would say one thing someone else would say something and so on. It would all be wrong and I had to suffer for it..Its really too much to go through...I realized they didn't really care about helping me, just covering their staff.

ok i think i understand a little now

Where are you applying?

Im still waiting on a decision from Memphis. and may check out southwest as an option

I always forget about southwest..How long is their program?

4 semesters i think. maybe 3

Memphis doesn't have many to choose from which is unfortunate.

I got accepted!!
