Hey there,I'm applying to some nursing schools, as a second degree student (I have a BA in anthropology, now), for 2010 admissions. I'm in the midst of taking my prereq's and felt like I had a solid plan laid out when--- I stumbled upon this "pre-entrance exam" thing. Uh-- huh?? What is this about?
Is this a test for high school graduates with no degree, or should I be figuring out where to take this test ASAP??
Thanks so much!
As the others have said it's the Nursing School Admissions Test--similar to how other professional school's having admissions test. It is a huge determinent for many schools as to who is accepted and who is not (there are exceptions of course). I also have a B.A., and found the test to be fairly easy but if you're taking a TEAS and rusty on your sciences or math, it's a good idea to brush up on it. It's not difficult material that you would find in an upper division Genetics course or anything though :)
