I'm studying for the pre entrance exam for the LVN program. I took the test before & failed horribly. the issue is I'm fantastic at math but suck at english. What tips do I need to prep for the reading comprehension, vocab, grammer part of the test??

Good luck on your test the 2nd time! I'm sure you'll do great.
I have the opposite problem - I'm great at English, but I'm horrible when it comes to math.

I just recently took mine and it was called the compass test, I was required to score a 50 for math and 80 for reading to pass it. They told me to study the math portion that would have fractions, decimals, pre algebra, and some other basic math. The reading was alot of comprehension, so anyways I went to local library and got a book titled chart your success on the compass test...it was really helpful and included practice problems and reading passages and had a practice test in the book so you could prepare....i passed first time...wish u luck with yours

Hi ,I took the hesiA2 and to study for it I wrote down the topic, main idea, supporting details, what the author is implying or leaning towards.I would say it would help to get a study guide for the test you are taking because it will give you examples of the types of questions that will be asked on the test.
