Any spring 09 applicants at PVAMU?

I have a 3.38 overall and 3.57 science

Anyone who has been on a waiting list for any BSN school? What does it really mean?

Yes i am, a spring applicant for 09. I am on the waiting list. There is a thread open for PVAMU under my user name started by someone else. Letters went out around the 18th. I am guessing you have not recieved yours yet?

But i want to know how the waiting list work. Like how many on it, are we on there in a certain order.....I know we will find out btwn here and nov 21 if we are accepted due to any openings if you are on the waitlist.

Also if the dealine for people who got accepted was oct 31 to turn in a acceptance letter then do they still need to let them know if they decide to go to another school after this date even if they accepted their admissions before accepting another?

My GPA is about the same as yours. I got an composite score 85 for reading on the NET and 100 for math.

Any info would help out a lot. :typing

I got accepted for the Spring 09 semester and my GPA was a 3.45 and I think I made a 99% on the math portion of the NET and like a 85% on the reading. I don't know about no waiting list though. I ain't think it was that serious to get in to PV's program as long as your GPA was above a 3.0.

Yeah some people think that it is not that serious but because of teacher shortage it is only a certain amount of people they let in. As i said before my GPA and Net score was good but and here i am on the waiting list. Don't know how many people on it! But Congrats and do well!

Did you take your pre-reqs at PV?

What's your departmental GPA and Support Area GPA?

Do you know how many students are accepted etc.?

Provide any info that you know about PV because they are very unresponsive.
