My friend got a call from PV asking him if he was still interested. Did you recieve a similar call? or any other contact from PV?

There are lots of qualified students that apply each semester, some who are placed on waiting list like you are, are considered first the following semester. Also students who go to PV that is the main campus are also given first dibs in regards to getting into the nursing program. My advice is not to loose hope, give Ms Anderson a call , let her know who you are. So when a student who was giving admission decides not to go to PV you will may be consisdered first. I think PV is great school, that graduates great nurses. I hope i could help all the best and hope to see you next year.

which pre-reqs do you still need? That could be the reason why you're on the waiting list. Because rootie had about the same GPA and NET scores as you do.

Did you take your pre-reqs at PV? What's your departmental GPA and Support Area GPA? Do you know how many students are accepted etc.? Provide any info that you know about PV because they are very unresponsive.

TWU is obviously the better school from PVAMU. If you have sent your admission packet to TWU and confirmed that they've recieved it then it is safe for you to "give up" the spot. Congratulations. TWU is a fantastic school.

I spoke with Dr. Smith and Ms. Anderson they won't tell anyone anything. They are waiting for spots to become available when students with provisional acceptance decline admissions to PVAMU. As seats become available you should hear from PVAMU. If you have been accepted to your first school of choice; obviously TWU then please give up your admission so they become available to other eager students.
