Prairie View A&M students

Hi all,

Is there anyone here starting at Prairie View this Spring or currently attending? I got my acceptance letter about 2 weeks ago....I am so excited...and nervous! Can any PV students give advice on what to expect?

probably ut houston ,..... but that school is super competitive and im starting to feel like they dont accepted anyone who doesnt already have a degree

Just to let you know, I heard PV has the highest retention. Good luck

Congrats to all the got in, i havent received anything yet.... but it wont matter cuz i got accepted to uthscsa n will be going there..... but was just curious if i got in or not. :/

Ugh!! I didn't get anything in the mail yet. :( I applied to PV and UT Houston, and I haven't heard anything from either yet. Does anyone know the answers to any of the following?

1. How many days a week is class? How many days a week is clinical?

2. When does clinicals start for 1 semester students?

3. Would it be advisable to accept a program and then later decline? (UT Houston will not send out acceptance letters until Mid November.)

4. What is the deadline to turn in your intentions to acceptance for Spring 2012?

5. For those that was accepted, what were your stats?

Here are my stats:

Overall GPA: 3.93

Science GPA: 3.66

Hesi 90.33%

CT 880

The only classes that I still need for the program, which I am taking now and will complete in December, is Chem and Computer. I read some of the post in this thread and PV wants all your science classes to be complete, but I didn't get that impression from Mrs A.... when I turned in all my information.
