Prairie View A&M students

Hi all,

Is there anyone here starting at Prairie View this Spring or currently attending? I got my acceptance letter about 2 weeks ago....I am so excited...and nervous! Can any PV students give advice on what to expect?

Yea pvlive sucks! They are no help, I think you did everything, they are just now sending out acceptance letter from main campus for spring 2012, but as far as the con, you wont here anything until late october to december, even if you call they wont give you an update on your app, its pretty much a waiting game! But good luck to all and hopefully I will see you all there!

Hey does anyone know how long it's going to take for the HESI score to get sent to the school? I'm planning to retake mine on Sept 26. The deadline is Oct 1. Some people told me it takes 3 hours. Some say 3 days =,=

hey angela, are you taking yours on sep 26???? and whats the process??? i dont have the code to register to take the hesi yet for pv. how long does it take???? and... stupid UHD lost my transcript request and now im soo behind.. like literally.. my application is still up in the air since i have to take the compass test again.. pv didnt accept my tsi from UHD. can you please help me? or anyone form this site?? i know we have a week left and i want to know if i still have the chance to take the hesi test... blahhhhhhhhhhhh. thanks yall!:confused::confused:

maxpuppy: I would rush rush rush! because they won't get your hesi score right away. you need to contact prometric asap if that is where you are taking or wherever to see why you havent received your code.

saraiish: I applied to ut houston but won't be getting in because when I took the hesi for pv I failed the vocab part and retook it for ut houston and failed the a&p part. So it shows I took it twice for ut houston. So my chances for them are over.

hey Saraish, can u please tell me if it is possible to do the HESI on the first and have it sent to the school automatically the same day, and if not is there a number to call prometric center to have an accomodation if we want different dates. Thank you

I called and had them reset it.......but now I can't change it to something I want it to be. Ugh, again !!!! I'm going next week, in person, to turn in my application to the CON now that I've been accepted into the unversity. I still don't have a transcript evaluation.

Hey guys, I know I may late posting this message. I am a Spring 2012 applicant and I just received the purple application in the mail today for the Upper-Division Clinical nursing program. I'm so excited!!! Hope this is a good sign.

Hey you guys,

How do you know if the Nursing department received your HESI scores? I just took my Hesi today and already received the Scores online which usually takes about 24-48hrs. Anyways, now i'm just wondering.. since I've received my scores, does that mean the Nursing department from A&M Prairie has also received it??... am i suppose to call elvolve and request the scores to be sent over? but i feel like that doesn't make any sense since i took the HESI test specifially for A&M prairie view .. when i went there to turn in my final app, the lady in the front said i need to request the scores to be send to mrs.anderson.. im soo confused yalll... PLEASE HELP... and what are their office hours for admission?? i cant find it anywhere online... i know this is my fault because im doing this last minute, but yeah.. i would greatly appreciate if you guys can help me out. thanks yall
