Anatomy and physiology is a lot of work - My best advice is to start studying for your tests early! (So early that you kind of feel silly). I started studying well in advance and that allowed me to only have to do a little bit of studying each day, rather than big study sessions right before the test. I think it actually makes the class a lot easier to handle if you structure it like that.
Chances are, you'll do great. You obviously care enough about it to make a post on it so I think you will be just fine. Usually grades are a direct reflection of effort. We can all do well in the classes, it's just a matter of if you are willing to put in the work and by the sounds of it you are :)
Good luck and congratulations on getting into your program!
Thank you for the advice! Which textbooks would you suggest to start studying from? Or are there any videos online that i could watch to help me?
I graduated from the same program you're about to start in. Memorizing will barely get you a passing mark. You need to develop or enhance your studying methods/learning style that works efficiently for you. I found mind mapping and diagrams helpful along with watching videos on youtube to explain more challenging or difficult areas. Anatomy and physiology are taught as separate units/systems when in fact they are all working at the same time to maintain homeostasis. The anatomy and physiology course at Centennial has short answers and that forces you to have to memorize terms and keywords because if those keywords or terms are missing you will not get full marks.

Hello all,
I am a Student registered for Centennial College's, Practical Nursing flex program.. I start in the fall (September 2014) and I am so nervous.. I've read on-line and have seen many comments about how hard anatomy and physiology is along with all the memorizing.. do you have any tips or tricks? also if you have taken this course at Centennial, how was it?
