PPD result question

Nurses General Nursing

I received a ppd test 7 days ago and the nurse deemed it as positive (said it was just on the cusp of being either positive or negative), however I got a chest X-ray that came up negative. I've never had a positive ppd until now nor have experienced any problems with them (my last one was in 2012). It's now 7 days later and the injection site is still visible, still swollen, and still slightly pink. There is no pussing or scabbing. It is also sore and the redness is not symmetrical around the injection site, almost as if it's traveling up my arm. Is this normal? I'm wondering if the nurse possibly injected the fluid too deep and if I should maybe get another test? Or is this something more serious to worry about or not?
