Postpartum nose bleeds?

Is it normal? I figured it's because of hormones. I'm new in this field and am just curious. I believe it's normal during pregnancy.

My nose bled often from 10 weeks preg to about 6 weeks post partum. My dr said it was typical and didn't seem concerned.

Sometimes it takes a while for those hormones to get straightened out. If they were frequent or lasted a long time it might be worth it to get her platelets checked.
