POST TEAS V SCORES HERE (ivy tech)

Published

Hi everyone!

I think it would be helpful for everyone who is interested to post their TEAS V scores here along with their combined points. This will give us an idea as to where we stand. I know the TEAS test told us our national percentage, but for me, I took it weeks ago and I'm sure that the percentage has changed now.

My TEAS score was- 75.3%

My combined scores (A's in all prereq's and TEAS score combined) is- 135.3 out of 160 total

Anyone else who feels comfortable posting go ahead!!

Also is anyone is already in the nursing program and wants to give out some tips or share the scores that they had to get into the program, that's great too!!

Thank you!

I have all A's in my prereqs and a 77.8 teas score. I applied with a 137.7.

Specializes in Critical Care.

I applied at South Bend for the ASN program. I had all A's in my prerequisites and an 86.7 on my TEAS so 146.7/160.

I scored an 81.3% on TEAS and all A's in my prereq's. I applied at Gary/Valpo and South Bend. My combined weighted score is only in the 135 range despite an 80%+ TEAS score. I was soft in the 30% weighted sections Science and Reading of the TEAS and 99th percentile in the Math section - only 20% weighting for math though.

I got the impression from the Valpo testing center that my TEAS score was high but they would not share any details. South Bend said they typically don't receive quite as many TEAS scores in the 80s as they did this round. Judging by the tight span of our scores, it will be a nail-biter for me. I won't be happy to be an LPN. Fingers crossed for ASN.

Everyone, keep posting your weighted scores and chosen campus.

Scored a 79.3% on my TEAS V and all A's on my prereqs. Applied with 140/160....waiting nervously!!

I scored 78.7% on the TEAS and have 2 Prereqs with A's and still finishing up Psych. I hope to get an A in that class too. If I do, my points will be 139.18, but if I get a B (I am borderline right now) my score will be 134.18 instead. Science portion of the Teas killed me. I applied to Richmond Ivy Tech for RN and LPN. . .

Disregard this post. Didn't see the ivy tech part -oops-

Specializes in PCT, RN.

I applied with all A's and an 82% on my TEAS so 142/160 points. I applied for the Crown Point/Valpo campus and am nervous because there are a lot of applicants that are close to my score!

Also I started a closed IVYT nursing program group on Facebook if you want to join! https://www.facebook.com/groups/ivytechnursing/
