Hi,I am applying to some ASN (RN) programs and I have completed a BA degree already. Are post BA RNs treated as BSNs in regards to job offers and salary? I know it is possible to do an accelerated BSN or BSN/MSN program, but I am thinking of going the ASN route for now because of its affordability.Thanks!

Nienna Celebrindal 613 Posts Has 12 years experience. Jan 26, 2015 I've known ADN with BS degree and no they were not treated like BSNs. If you live in a market that favors BSNs, get a BSN. I hate to say it but your previous degree will not help you at all.
