I agree, you need your BScN to do a masters in nursing. That said, the University of Toronto has a 2 year accelerated BScN for those with a degree. You may want to look into that. http://bloomberg.nursing.utoronto.ca/prospectives/BScN/undergrad.htm
McGill has the only direct-entry masters programme in Canada leading to an MSc in Nursing and the Clinical Nurse Specialist designation. There are pre-reqs to this in addition to A&P, English (and Stats).
Otherwise, there's usually one university per province that offers an accelerated BScN for students with either 10 classes of undergrad or a full BA/BSc/undergrad degree in almost any area. UofC, UofA, UBC are in my region.
Almost all nurses I've talked to and my own parents (doc and nurse) say to do the accelerated BScN...parachuting into a CNS position can be restrictive and doesn't provide the same level of on-the-ground experience that the BSN/BScN does. But it depends on your abilities and motivation. Good luck!

Does anyone know of any post-bac pre nursing programs in canada. I can't seem to find any on my google search. i am thinking of doing a post-bac since I majored in sociology as an undergrad and still need the science courses to apply for an Entry level masters in nursing.:redbeathe
