I recently graduated this year and passed the country's nursing licensure exam, got my license but have no job....
Our petition is coming soon (maybe in 5 months time or sooner) and
I was thinking that maybe taking the NCLEX in the US when I get there rather than taking the exam now and then go there is possible.... sorry for some wrong grammars

if you are coming to the u.s. in less than 5 months, then i suggest you take the nclex here in the u.s. because there might be some delay with your nclex application and would be better resolved when you are here.
but if you have an international pearsonvue site in your country and the state you are applying licensure with tells you they process international nursing graduate pretty quickly, then you can try and take it in your country.
good luck!

There's a lot of very useful information on this site (look in the International Forum) that should help you figure out what to do next. Please take some time to read the relevant posts then if you still have questions, come on back.
