I understand it would vary by state, am just wondering if there are any certifications available..I've been doing a search for CEU's as well and am having a hard time finding much.
Thank you

I don't think that's possible...medicaid and medicare are basically just a type of insurance. The people that use them (as with any insurance) go to whichever doctor that accepts them. I don't think there's "medicare/medicaid doctors".

Some Large home health agencies have a dedicated Medicaid Nurse who follows the 'Caid patients for their paperwork and recerts. The patients need to be seen on a tight schedule for their supervisory visits and follow-up visits. This nurse may also be doing any treatments, med loads, etc. that these pts need.
But I am not aware of any type of 'nurse' certification.

ARNP's and sometimes RN's have a different billing or charge code in the Mediciad system. Maybe this is what the OP is referring.
