Portland Oregon Travel Assignment

I’m thinking about going to Portland Oregon for a travel assignment! Has anyone else worked at OSHU as a traveler? Any advice on where to stay that is affordable and close to the hospital (I won’t be taking my car ?)

Check Craigslist. You will almost certainly see some ads aimed at travel nurses specifically and state their proximity to local hospitals. Also highly recommend posting your own housing wanted ad. Travel nurses are highly desirable tenants (no problem paying rent) and often good places will be offered to you that are never advertised. I've often scored great places that way near to my assignment - I bicycle to work so close is a priority.
