I'm graduating next month and have an interview in a few weeks at a local hospital. I know some students create portfolios, but I wonder if the fact that there is very little to include in the portfolio means it will just end up in the trash. Any pointers on whether this is worth the energy and investment of time?

Good question. We were forced to make one in my post masters program for a grade but I personally thought it was the stupidest thing I have ever done as a professional who already had a respectable CV and have never used it. But thats just me. Hopefully others will write in if this is something that prospective employers actually want. :)
