I didn't see a forum started for the Spring term yet, so I figured I'd bite the bullet and do it myself!

This is just a place for us to stress cry, ask questions, get support, discuss issues we're having related to nursing school, etc.

Hello hello!

This application round will mark my FOURTH time applying after taking a break to finish my AA last year and get a year of experience as a CNA on a med/surg unit. So hopefully, with the AA and the added experience, I'll have a better chance of getting in.

Here's my application math for anyone interested!

5 x 3.17 + 79.3 = 95.1

5 x 3.17 + 2 = 17.85

112.95

Crossing my fingers and toes for myself and anyone else who finds their way to this forum ❤️

Hi! I'm applying for this school too. I'm so hoping I get in, shmeemsy your stats look good!! We basically have the same point score I have 112.6. I hope we both get in!!

Oh my gosh I’m so nervous!! have you heard anything back yet on your decision?

 

I was reading other forums and they got their decisions on September 8th.

No I haven’t heard back yet! I just checked my email not even 5 mins ago. Hopefully we hear today! That’d be nice lmao. It’ll be an email right? To our PSC email?

Yes! it’ll be to our PSC email. I downloaded the outlook app so that I’ll get a notification as soooon as they send it. I can’t wait to hear something back.

Hi everyone!

I also applied for this term and I can’t wait to hear back!. I also noticed last year students received an answer as soon as sept 8. Fingers crossed we hear something soon.

Hey! I was just looking around on the school website and I clicked on advising> display interactive degree audit and it says: 

Admission Status.......:NEW STUDENT

Program Status.........:ACTIVE

I'm not sure if this means I got in but I've never seen this before. Do any of you guys see that? Definitely getting my hopes up LOL

I just looked and saw it too. Mine says

Admission Status: READMITTED STUDENT

Program Status: ACTIVE

since I got my AA at PSC. Then it has my degree audit listed as an Associate of Science with the program pre reqs and lists the core nursing program classes that I have to complete. I think in years past they've said this doesn't necessarily mean you got in, but IDK why they'd go through the trouble of changing that if we didn't?

IDK but I'm about to lose it if we don't hear soon. I feel nauseated every time I think about getting The Email.

ALSO mine has "Pgm Admit Status: N" to the right of "Program Status: ACTIVE"... ?????? Does that mean no?? Like????

I'm about to lose my damn mind for real. I get nauseated every time I think about The Email. I just want to know. Like PSC just reject me so I can move on lmao
