Hi Allison, I took the TEAS test June 1st and had my interview a little over a week ago. Still haven't receivved an acceptance or denial letter. I read a post by you on the SW board and was in the same bost as you. I too, took the TEAS previously and was told I should retest to secure a seat only to hear that I had indeed scored their minimum requirement. :mad:

Have you decided day or evening??

How did you do the second time on the test? I didn't know hardly any science because after the reading and math we took a break and that's when she told us that those were the sections that counted. So I got nervous. How did the interview go? I think I'm going to do day FT. I know it'll we overwhelming but I'm going to give it my all!! I hope you get in!!! Good luck!! I was mad because we needed to be at the test at 8:45. Well 9:30 people were still walking in and they allowed it. They aren't going to change and that's how they will be for class too! How soon did you get your scores?

I got an 80 the second time. I think the interview went well so I'm hoping I get accepted. I chose to go FT days too. Your right, it's gonna be tough but the daytime program gets their degrees in half the time. It was exactly a week for my scores to show up online, and exactly a week later for the interview. I watch for the mail like a hawk now, lol... So far nothing.

Thanks Christina!! I just checked ATI and my scores were there...97.5% in Reading and 84.4% in Math with overall 80.6%. So hopefully I'll get an interview too and see you in the Fall :) Keep me posted if you get in

Hi everyone...

Just a question.....Is Putnam Boces offering a Part Time Day program in September? Or is their Part time program being given in the evenings? Does anyone know?

Day is FT and done in 10 month Sept-June. Evening is PT Sept 2010 and finish June 2012 Hope that helps

Did you get a call for your interview a week after your scores showed up? How soon after was your interview scheduled? I never got my scores in the mail...maybe I don't?? I keep waiting for the call. I'm going crazy!!! :uhoh3: Did you get a letter yet? I don't live close to the school. I live in CT. I use to live in Brewster. Since CT cut their LPN programs I had to go to NY. Its about a 40 minute drive.

Hey Allison, sorry I was away for a few days.

Got a call almost exactly aa week after scores were posted on ATI. Had my interview the following day. Just received my letter, I'm in!!! WOOHOO!!!

I got called for an interview! So nervous!!! What kind of questions do they ask? Is there 1 person doing the interview? Congrats on getting in!!! You must be so excited!!!!!

It's a one on one interview and the woman is super nice. They'll ask...

Why you want to be a nurse?

What was your biggest obstacle you had to overcome past or present?

What do you think is the most important skill a nurse can have?

How would you feel if you were given a negative evaluation by your instructor?

If you began to feel like you were going off track, or like you couldn't handle continuing in the program what would you do?
