Hey all. I just moved to northern Indiana and I am a bit curious about PNC's Nursing program. Anyone gone through it and have some opinions/advice? Any particular local hospital better for clinicals? Anything else I should know before I apply?

Hello. PNC will no longer have a nursing program. They are being shut down. I go to IVY Tech and am loving it. You can also go to IUN. Hope that helps.

Since when? I got into PNC nursing for this past Jan, but turned it down because of illness. It was never mentioned that the program was going away.

They just got offical approval for a new BSN in December.

OOPS...they told me the wrong thing. It is the ASN they got rid of. You are right about the BSN. Sorry!!

They still have an ADN avaliable I believe

Yeah, apparently they are forcing all 4 year universities to only offer the BSN degree. I would bet PNC isn't happy about that since alot of students want the ASN degree.

Heehee. No problem.

The new BSN doesn't start until 2008.
