Hello all. I've been coming to this discussion forum for several weeks now, picking up all the great tips and encouragement, but have never posted anything until now. Just thought I'd share my day quick.....
Took nclex pn today; when all was said and done, I ended up passing with 85 questions. I stopped counting the SATA questions after 5 or 6, and there were many more after that; lots and lots of priority q's; lots of maternity; and more meds that I didn't recognize than did recognize, but no calculations. When I was done, I had no idea what to think about it, and I actually waited over 4 HOURS to try the PVT (I was too scared I'd get the bad popup). Finally, my wonderful boyfriend couldn't take it anymore and convinced me to log in to try it. He had to be the one to do the final click, I just couldn't do it, as I sat there with my hands over my eyes, peeking out between my fingers like it was a scary movie or something!!!
In the end, I got the good pop-up; now I'm just waiting for it to be official on the BON website (I'm still scared something will happen until it's official, and of course, I've checked it over and over and over again!!).
I'm soooo relieved that's over!! Thanks for all the tips, website postings, the infamous AN study guide (sooooo helpful!!!), etc. Good luck to all those out there getting ready to tackle it; you can do it!!!

CONGRATS! I took my test last 2/17 and also got the good pop up. Still waiting for the official result. I'm in CA and my friends got their result in the mail after 5 days. Hoping to get the good news soon.

hi lallajo congrats for passing the board. what review materials did you use? i will be taking the nclex pn soon and i am using the kaplan right now i want to know if that is enough information.
Thanks sheryl18 and myprideandjoy! I primarily used Kaplan QBank, but I also downloaded Saunders NCLEX review on my iPhone to use when I was away from my computer. Out of the two, Kaplan seemed to be the most similiar to NCLEX. I'm soooo glad it's over; it's wonderful, and kinda weird, to NOT have to study tonite!!!!! Good luck on your upcoming boards!!
