PMHNP salaries - updated

Hello everyone,

I have done a thorough search of the current PMHNP salaries based on geographical area. I found some old threads here on this subject. I was hoping we could get an updated thread going for current salaries and where you are located. Would any current PMHNP's be willing to share a rough estimate?

DC/Baltimore areas $150,000 new grads up to $200,000 for experienced/sought after. Unfortunately there are some willing to work for $120,000 who in combination with the large number of new grads, many with no psych experience, in this area are causing our wages to hit the skids.

I'm in Tennessee, the lowest paid state in the union for nurses. I've seen salaries as low as $70K up to $130K, with the higher salaries being offered in the more suburban and rural areas. I would urge you, however, to not pursue the PMHNP just for the money.
