I might have the option to see WA patients with my current company in the near future. For tele-PMHNPs out there who see WA patients and are fee-for-service, do you know:

1) is there telepsych parity in WA that requires insurance companies to reimburse telepsych the same as in-office visits?

2) what are the typical reimbursement rates for 90792, 99214, and 90833 for commercial insurance and/or medicare/medicaid? (Feel free to PM me.)

TIA

There is no way to know the reimbursement rates because each practice negotiates it's own. Btw in general 99205 is more profitable than 90792.

True but I would assume that they would all be in the same ball park. I know the reimbursement rates for 2 different companies in my area and the rates are almost exactly the same. Anyway, I should be able to get those numbers from my company.

90792 is the default for the 2 places I work. For one practice 95% of the patients are existing patients so can't use 99205 (plus here I get hourly paid and I'm leaving). I'll have to look into why the other place isn't using it, but I'm assuming insurance companies won't be as willing to reimburse it if we're essentially performing the same service between the two codes.

No there's huge variation. I literally have a $120 difference in reimbursement for 99214 between two insurers in the same state (both private commercial).
