Hi everyone,

Getting this thread started for the ELMSN 2021 cohort starting in June 2021. Got this email back in October of when we should start hearing back. I submitted my app in early October. What about everyone else?

Has anyone else received any admission results? So far I haven’t seen anything in my regular or spam folder!

I haven’t received anything yet! Just waiting to hear from Plu to decide if I need to move out of state to the school I’ve been accepted to

Congrats on your other acceptance! ? Out of curiosity, where else were you accepted? And which program do you think you’ll choose if you also get an acceptance from PLU?

I got into a ABSN program in Utah! I’m still waiting to hear back from UW, Plu and Wsu, so it depends on what happens with those schools as well. I’d love to go to Plu because it is the closest school to my location, plus I want to start school asap ?

I'm in the same boat as well! I have gotten accepted to George Washington's ABSN program but am waiting to hear back from University of Miami ABSN,  Cal state San Marcos, Cal state Fullerton, and University of SD! I am from CA but still figuring out where I want to end up! Have you gotten any good advice about pursuing ABSN vs MSN? I am torn still on which is best for current and future work goals!

I’m honestly torn as well, my end goal is to become a NP, which it’s possible to bridge over with either a BSN or MSN. It’s just the cost aspect which has me trying to figure out which would be a better option. I’m leaning toward the ABSN because the program is only 16 months! I plan on working for a few years gaining experience and of course paying off debt ? and then apply to a NP Program if that is still my goal.

I am thinking the same! I do like how PLU allows us to work with our RN while taking master's courses, which many programs don't allow. I am so ready to start making payments towards loans/debt!

Congratulations! I'm about to apply to GW's ABSN program for Fall. I'm also from CA. ? I think the ABSN is just another way to accomplish the same thing, if you are going to continue on with your education beyond that degree. I think the only good thing at this early stage is if you get the MSN and decide not to go back to school, at least you have the MSN which could open up more leadership roles for you later on, once you've gained some experience.

Congrats! Did you apply for them all around the same time? I just sent out my applications within the last month, so I have at least a month or more to wait on decisions still. I don't think you could go wrong with any of those programs though. I hope you don't have to put a deposit down soon on the Utah program.

If I remember correctly I applied to PLU first and the the other schools followed. I think I still have a few months to wait on admission offers from them which may be cutting it close because that school in Utah starts in June.

Has anyone heard anything yet?
