Please respond if you have any information on Indiana state University????

Published

Hi to all of you,

This is my first time in this site, and I need to ask the people who completed Indiana state university BSN program or they are still in the program about their experience.

I appreciate any comments in advance

I'd also like to know since I plan on going to Indiana University Northwest in the fall :)

Specializes in OB, ortho/neuro, home care, office.

Well I have no experience at Indiana State, but I did go to a school in Indiana. I would say that the school I went to by far exceeds any state college in the state. We always had purdue students at our clinical sites.

Funny thing about it is they would be in their 3rd year before they ever touched a patient. Let alone gave meds.

We were passing meds in our second nursing class which was during first year.

Doing patient care the very first semester.

I would highly suggest St.E for anyone who wants an excellent education. They have boring 'core' classes, but the very first year you go there you are already doing patient care. No matter where you live in Indiana it's worth the drive.

No I am not getting anything for telling you this, except making sure that everyone out there gets a good education. The best.

Although if any instructors out there are reading this post, I graduated in May of 2005 and went by Jen :) if you want to give me kudos I won't argue :) lol

Only problem with St. E is it's a private school so it's pretty expensive, but the financial aide guy is a wiz at what he does and gets you all the money he can! So it's worth it.

Hello Again to all of you,

This is the second time I am posting this question about Indiana state University.

Could you please tell me about you experience in this nursing program, Is it hard or easy?

How the teachers treat their students? Are they supportive and caring or Not??

Your overall experience and if you are recommending it to anybody else or not?

I really appreciate your time and effort for the respond.
