Distraction---ie, music, television, books
Cold/hot packs---if allowed
Positioning---ie, may be more comfortable on side, or with head of bed elevated
Administering pain medications as ordered and assessing for effectiveness
Pain is actually a fairly easy nursing diagnosis to do. Did you even try looking this up on-line or in a nursing diagnosis book. I'm sure you would have had tons of implementations.

for anyone to give you any ideas for decent and appropriate interventions (treatments) you need to provide much more information about this patient's problem than they are having "pain" and that it is due to a "surgical incision". pain from a thyroidectomy has some different interventions than pain from a knee replacement.
