Hi... PLEASE HELP!
I got into both shoreline and renton RN program (so happy :)) but now I have to decide which one to go to... shoreline is accredited and has higher NCLEX passing rate than renton but to go to shoreline I will be spending about 2hr commute everyday. Renton will only take me 30min total. From what I can see shoreline looks like better program but if I go to renton I can spend hr and half studying rather than driving and I have to think about the cost such as gas... should commute dictate my decision? or how important is passing rate and accreditation?
Thank you everyone for your great input... :)After much needed soul searching I have decided to go with Shoreline... My journey to RN school was not the easiest but I'm here and I know whatever situation i'am in I will do my very best. So, I will suck it up and commute and I'm going to love it every minute :up:Thank you again everyone.. I love that we have this community to go to~
Good luck to you. I wonder if there's another student you can carpool with?
I am at Bellevue College, and I have a classmate who commutes from south of Tacoma. She makes recordings of material she wants to study, and I believe she also records lectures, and listens to them in her car during her commute. You could try something like that too...just make sure you get permission to record lectures.
