  1. Hi TheCommuter I was wondering what is the differences between traditional RN-BSN from local university and WGU? is there any issues with getting hire by hospital with online degree?
  2. Check out Bellevue College.. they offer RN to BSN
  3. Thank you everyone for your great input... :) After much needed soul searching I have decided to go with Shoreline... My journey to RN school was not the easiest but I'm here and I know whatever situation i'am in I will do my very best. So, I will suck it up and commute and I'm going to love it every minute :up:Thank you again everyone.. I love that we have this community to go to~
  4. Renton is accredited by WA state but not national... tokmom, I had no idea Renton had that kind of reputation... wow~ you said shoreline USED to have good program.. it means they don't anymore? should I be worry?
  5. Thank you joseQuinones... I want to get my BSN after and if i'm not burnout after that would like to get master. Unfortunately moving is not an option for me so have to commute. I'am leaning more towards shoreline but just wanted to hear other people's advice base on their experience and knowledge. Thanks again for your feedback.
  6. Hi... PLEASE HELP! I got into both shoreline and renton RN program (so happy :)) but now I have to decide which one to go to... shoreline is accredited and has higher NCLEX passing rate than renton but to go to shoreline I will be spending about 2hr commute everyday. Renton will only take me 30min total. From what I can see shoreline looks like better program but if I go to renton I can spend hr and half studying rather than driving and I have to think about the cost such as gas... should commute dictate my decision? or how important is passing rate and accreditation?
  7. I just got my acceptance letter so happy I started crying Hang in there lw2015.. I heard a lot of people got in as alternate... probably you are high in the alternate list because minimum points was 103.75. hope to see you at the orientation.
  8. I just called Shoreline and they just sent out the letters today.... GOOD luck to all of us!!
  9. Has anyone heard anything from shoreline?
  10. Hi journey of hope... I was wondering if you can share some inside about the program. What are the daily schedule like? is there ways to prepare for the program? How are the home works? How many hours do you spend studying? is there option to take few classes in the summer for the full program? any tips will be helpful. Thank you
  11. I can't believe we still have to wait about a month to get the letter... getting little anxious
  12. I'am not sure what is the requirement for getting the points for bonus classes... it really didn't explain much but since we had to input description, I assume it depends on that. When I was dropping off my application, lady at the front desk said 103.75 is competitive.. so I'am hopeful.
  13. hopefully 103 is enough so we can all get in this spring :)
  14. I'm thinking about trying Renton Tech.... I heard their program is not as good as Shoreline but I leave in Bellevue so commute will be so much better. I still would love to get into Shoreline.... how about you? are you applying to other school?
  15. Hi... anyone applying to Shoreline Spring 2015? I just dropped off my application today. I'am very nervous because when I talked to lady at the front desk, she said for winter 2015 cutoff points were 104. my calculation got me only 103.75 I'm hoping that will be enough to get me in....
