Thank you everyone for your great input... :) After much needed soul searching I have decided to go with Shoreline... My journey to RN school was not the easiest but I'm here and I know whatever situation i'am in I will do my very best. So, I will suck it up and commute and I'm going to love it every minute :up:Thank you again everyone.. I love that we have this community to go to~

Please help! need to make a decision by 2/19
Thank you joseQuinones... I want to get my BSN after and if i'm not burnout after that would like to get master. Unfortunately moving is not an option for me so have to commute. I'am leaning more towards shoreline but just wanted to hear other people's advice base on their experience and knowledge. Thanks again for your feedback.

Please help! need to make a decision by 2/19
Hi... PLEASE HELP! I got into both shoreline and renton RN program (so happy :)) but now I have to decide which one to go to... shoreline is accredited and has higher NCLEX passing rate than renton but to go to shoreline I will be spending about 2hr commute everyday. Renton will only take me 30min total. From what I can see shoreline looks like better program but if I go to renton I can spend hr and half studying rather than driving and I have to think about the cost such as gas... should commute dictate my decision? or how important is passing rate and accreditation?

Shoreline Spring 2015
Hi journey of hope... I was wondering if you can share some inside about the program. What are the daily schedule like? is there ways to prepare for the program? How are the home works? How many hours do you spend studying? is there option to take few classes in the summer for the full program? any tips will be helpful. Thank you

Shoreline Spring 2015
I'am not sure what is the requirement for getting the points for bonus classes... it really didn't explain much but since we had to input description, I assume it depends on that. When I was dropping off my application, lady at the front desk said 103.75 is competitive.. so I'am hopeful.

Shoreline Spring 2015
hopefully 103 is enough so we can all get in this spring :)

Shoreline Spring 2015
I'm thinking about trying Renton Tech.... I heard their program is not as good as Shoreline but I leave in Bellevue so commute will be so much better. I still would love to get into Shoreline.... how about you? are you applying to other school?

Shoreline Spring 2015
Hi... anyone applying to Shoreline Spring 2015? I just dropped off my application today. I'am very nervous because when I talked to lady at the front desk, she said for winter 2015 cutoff points were 104. my calculation got me only 103.75 I'm hoping that will be enough to get me in....

I just talked to Julie at Allied Health (they are working)... she said it today 7/2, all notification will be sent today via RTC email.... hope its good news!!!
-

Hummm.... that's funny~ why would she say it will be email this week when the school is closed?? she is Allied Health administrator for RTC so I hate to think she had the wrong information.... I don't know what to think of this.... guess just have to wait? maybe check the mailbox to see if they mail the letter out? I can't even call anyone since the school is closed....

From what I understand its lottery.... I guess first they go through all applications and take all qualified applications to lottery system. Julie at Allied Health said, they will send out a email by first part of next week.

Talked to Allied Health Dept. selection has been made and notification will be sent via email or mail beginning of next week.... Crossing my fingers.....

Hey manoucha.... just fyi, I just talked to Stacy Hamilton at RTC (until last quarter, she was with selection committee) she was told by Allied Health Dept. they might contact student by RTC email rather than calling.. so go to RTC web under student svc and set up your email if you haven't done so... *** what if I didn't call and talked to Stacy??
