If you are already in an actual nursing program, don't move. You are going to find it hard to transfer what you do have completed, most will make you start over from the beginning. Adn you start the wait process all over again.
Best advice, finish up where you are, then move.
p.s. I am a Diploma RN and have never, ever had a problem finding a job.
Hi Lamorena,
It's my understanding that the only difference between the associates degree and diploma programs at Holy Name is one course. Also note that Holy Name will only allow you to transfer 9 credits from another institution. The associates degree is not in nursing, but Health Sciences.
Holy Name is a great nursing school, but make sure you do your homework and determine if it's the right fit for you.
Hope this info helps,
espikey :)
