I had an incident at work last week looking for insight. As I was going through my MAR I accidently signed for a gt flush...after realizing it I left it flagged instead of crossing it out. I had to take the tf down at 6 anyway. Unfortunately I had to leave early after an incident with my supervisor she was yelling at me and I asked her to stop (it was a personal issue not work related) she couldnt seperate the 2 and she sent me home refusing to take report from me. She then proceeded to search for anything and everything I could have done wrong and found that 1 thing signed and flagged for 6 am. then reported me. After explaining the situation to the DNS she stated that it was considered falsifying documents and I could lose my license for it. I told her if I was actually trying to do something wrong why were all the other 160 meds due at 6am not signed for. I remain on suspension pending investigation scared outta my mind that my license is gone. Basically I was told it is in corporates hands.....so I sit and wait. I guess my question is can I really lose my license for such a stupid mistake?

Hi, there. I am so very sorry that you are going through this uphill battle with your place of employment. They do not seem like the most savory characters if they are making idle threats about a feeding tube flush.

Unfortunately, the membership cannot determine whether this could affect your licensure in the future. I wish you the best of luck and hope that you emerge from this experience unscathed.
