I am in my 2nd year of community college. I got rejected from NYU today.
The reason why I applied to that program was because they require less prereqs as most other schools.
If I apply to UC Denver I have to take college Alegbra
Uof Utah requires me to take Pathoph.
UCLA requires Calculus instead of statistics.
the other ones biochemistry instead of Chemistry.
I feel like every single school requires diff. prereqs and I dont wanna take more prereqs. and waste more and money. (I am an international student, the out of state tuition is a pain in the butt)
I was now thinking I could apply for a Sociology program and finish my Bachelors in Sociology and then go for the accelerated Nursing program. most accelerated nursing programs have all the same prereqs. (Anatomy, Physio, Microb, Chem, and Stats) Do you think that would be a good idea?
is it more difficult to get into a Accelerated Nursing program?

ABSN programs are highly competitive and more expensive than first bachelor's degrees quite often they are charged at the graduate credit rate. One 18-month accelerated program at a state school costs $100,000 and is highly selective.
You need to make a list of your potential routes to nursing with time & cost to make an educated choive
