Not sure how to answer that question since it is kinda vague lol! The same way you study for anything else... read over your notes, do the assigned readings and make supplemental notes for anything that needs a bit of clarification in your mind, get a firm grasp on main themes, make up mnemonics where you need to.... etc, etc.

Practice Questions, lots and lots..always the key for me.

i am in third semester and i had these subjects last semestr.. i got an "A" in mental health but it was not much work..in fact all i did was go through my professor's powerpoint lecture slides and i was there..
but for med-surg.. i got a "B" after i read all the chapters in the syllabus..so my advice for anyone having med surg will be to go through your chapters..read..read ..and read some more.. practice questions from study guides.. or additional med-surg books.. also review med-surg questions from NCLEX prep-boks.. but be aware of the fact that a few questions might be addressed later as you will encounter med-surg in 3rd semester too... so STUDY STUDY STUDY... because its a TOUGH subject!!!
Thanks for the advice guys! Sorry Jrsmrs for the vague question. hehe
I meant to ask Does anyone have advice on how to prepare for an exam, such as should i write outlines for every chapter or Read/ highlight high points...any suggestions guys??? Thanks again!
