I would suggest you check out the International forum found by clicking the Local tab near the top of the page especially the thread/sticky titled Primer to working in the US You are aware that CA will not issue you with a license until you get to the US and can prove there with a valid work visa, but they will isue you with a letter stating you meet requiements and if not in the US within 3 years you will have to re apply although will not have to repeat NCLEX. There is also retrogression and all countries currently affected.
I really suggest having a good read in the International forum I am sure you will find all your answers

hi everyone.. actually im new here in this website... i would just like to ask a favor from u guys to guide me for my nclex application. i recently graduated BSN degree last march and took the local nursing licensure exam last june 2007.since the result of the local boards will be out by august, im already planning to apply for nclex and the state is in california.. i've already printed out the nclex application and asked my school for the requirements like TOR and the breakdown of the program..
so after i've received the requirements what's the next step/s?
